My man Philly Chase! This dude never sleeps and never stops grinding. This man gives hard work a whole new meaning that even I can’t describe. This Philadelphia rapper has a crazy dope delivery, lyricism, and isn’t afraid to take risks with his music. He represents Philadelphia to the fullest extent, bringing the raw sounds of Philly into his music, but still being able to adapt his music to any region he caters to. His work ethic and music is no joke and is, what’s the phrase I’m looking for? Oh yea, “about that life.” Like he always says, “Why try to be the next somebody when I can be the first me?”
Philly Chase began rapping in the streets of Philadelphia, PA at age 12 and was quickly noticed for his versatile cadences and innovative lyricism. Following in the footsteps of Jay-Z, Chase is heralded for his ability to recite hundreds of rhymes without pen or pad and record multiple songs in less than an hour. Aspiring to create a new lane in the hip-hop world, Chase prides himself on his creativity and unwillingness to conform to the current industry standards. This dedication and passion has caught the attention of people across music including Larry Gold, Black Thought of the Roots and multi-platinum writers/producers Dre and Vidal. Living by the motto “Chop, Hustle, And Stack Everything,” Chase has steadily built a buzz in the Philadelphia area and is getting ready to explode nationally after stints opening for artists like Drake, T.I., Lil Jon and State Property. Philly Chase is also an accomplished businessman. As Co-Founder and President of Lazy Genius Productions and the President of Elite Auto Tune, Chase is never content and constantly works to improve the situation of those around him.
Philly Chase’s “Flight City” album was released earlier this year (and yes the year JUST started too) and is definitely something EVERYONE should have in their music library. Two of his singles “Money Team” and “Girls Like To Party” have been creating quite a buzz for Chase. He teamed up with Floyd Mayweather for “Money Team” and has been getting great responses from listeners. This is the raw Philly sounds I was talking about y’all! He took a different approach and woke up all the clubs with “Girls Like To Party.” This production and beat to this track is ridiculously addicting and definitely brings out the party side of girls. This club banger has also received positive responses from its listeners.
